I’m tired. My legs are sore. My breath has been a little short. I did take Thursday as a rest day – first one in a while – but then I killed myself with a really hard swim. I know that swimming at a fast pace drains me. It’s part of the reason I usually don’t push it in the water. But I needed to so I did. I figured I’d be fresh from a rest day and that my body could absorb it. Whelp. Next time I’ll end my training block with it so I can take the entire next day to recover – as opposed to a fast finish run and intervals on the bike. Tomorrow should be an easy session and an easy run. But I might cut the pool out. That will be a game time decision for tomorrow.
