Day 2 today. The agenda today was a bike and swim. Figured it was easier to knock out the bike first thing this morning. Got in an easy 16 miles in zone 2 (did choose a flat course on Zwift). Plan for this afternoon is to get in the water a little before 4. It’s an “easiesh” swim today too. 500 easy to warm up, 5x 100 hard, then 500 cool down. Normally not a fan of pushing in the water but I’m going to make an honest effort to hold about a 2 min to 2:05 pace for the Z3 work. Did the critical velocity test yesterday which was a 250 warm up, then hard 400, hard 200, then easy 1000. The 400 averaged 2:03 per 100 and the 200 1:57 per 100. BUT.. I was also super rested yesterday so we’ll see how tonight goes.
