Busy weekend. Looking forward to starting to get some time so I can focus and recover and train properly. I think that I mentioned that I’m going to start using a coach. Can’t remember. Well, we talk on Tuesday so I’ll have more after that. Today was an FTP test and a recovery swim. Was thinking about running but I was too spent. Did the ramp test rather than the 20 min the 20 min at 170 which was in my plan for the day. Ramp test was not easy but I think I could have done another 2-3 minutes if I was better rested and recovered. New FTP is 194 which was a pretty big increase over the last time I did it. Which is not a surprise. Gains will be slower coming on that though. Swim was really slow, but I didn’t use my legs other than to keep from sinking and I took my time. Just getting the laps in.
