Well. I did it. I registered for Ironman Lake Placid for July 2024. Guess things are going to start to get real. Focus now is getting my base going and to have a solid foundation on which to start building the 140.6 training in January. Meeting with a coach on Friday to see about the best way to go about doing that. Forgot to weigh in this morning and I’m gone from home until Thursday so there really won’t be a weigh in until Friday.

I know, not the ideal way to start a training routine. I’m at the mercy of whatever they are serving here (I’m at a start of semester retreat with the Student Government kids) so I’m going to make due and avoid the massive amount of junk food that is everywhere.
I’m a little scared about running Ironman again. I’m afraid I wont be ready and wont be able to make it to the starting line. I’m going to ask my friends/people/community to help me through this one. Not sure I can do it on my own.
